A paleo diet is a diet that is based on the wild plants and animals which humans ate in the Paleolithic era which ended when people began farming. This diet includes meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, roots, and nuts. It does not include grains, legumes, dairy products, refined sugar, and processed oils. To make this diet healthy and sustainable I recommend limiting your animal protein intake to a maximum of 50g of meat or fish per day and using organic or lean products only. Ghee in replacement of butter or processed oils is acceptable.
